Biography
I've been with Bug Zero since August 1999. My interests outside work revolve around outdoor activities, especially Fishing, Deer, Turkey, and Waterfowl Hunting. I've been married to Heather since 1997. We have one son- Zachary.
Inspired by our son Zachary, Heather and I started the Shoot Out For Autism fundraiser in 2006, supporting local individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
About Shoot Out For Autism
This sporting clays tournament is held each spring at Ozark Shooters. Participants enjoy a fun-filled day of shooting, raffles, music, and food. The Shoot Out was founded by the Woodring Family, also known as “Zach’s Pack” in 2006.

Why We Shoot
Many of our individuals require 24-hour care, and many have little or no family involvement. While we are able to bill Medicaid for all of their direct services and administrative costs, their limited income doesn’t allow for basic needs such as dental care, healthcare items, housewares, clothing, bedding, or transportation to medical appointments. Nor simple luxuries we all take for granted such as a birthday gift, dinner & a movie, or a summer camp which may be the only time they have a chance to get away for a few days. Since we are able to bill Medicaid for our direct care services,100% of all donations go directly to our individuals.
